Hi All,
I went down the rabbit hole that is the "structured water" thread
I am new here, and I noticed Dr. Jeff mentions it in a lot of his YT videos. Is this just chia seeds and water? What is the ratio? Or do you get structured water from the many machines that people were mentioning in the thread?

Thanks. My brain is a little mushy from consuming all this info.

Yes, and yes. Or "No". I'm one of those who use a machine - in my case an old Nikken device that is all but obsolete. I'd advise you to do your own research, with emphasis on the work of Dr. Pollack at the University of Washington. There are a few machines out there that actually work, and many that don't do much, I feel.

I think the structured water makes a big difference, and we use it for all drinking and cooking. I'm not attracted to the chia seed method, but if folks can make a difference with it, I can't argue. My own tests satisfied me as to the effects, as demonstrated to me some 25 years ago by a Nikken rep: it absorbs more quickly and thoroughly, rinses better, and both the animals and the houseplants thrive on it. Hope this helps a bit.

Hi Joanna!

Yes, you can use ground organic chia seeds to make structure water as described in the thread that synopsizes structured water. Regarding the ratio, it depends on how thick and jelly like to want to make it.

I've used anywhere from 1-3 tsp ground chia/cup of water.

Currently we use the Vitalizer+ to make the process easier. Even easier is an under sink system such as from Spring Aqua:
