In addition to soothing the body, rebalancing the underlying energy field imbalance causing the recurrence of the itching is critical. Re-read lesson 1 in the 101 course and search on Evaluation of Response and really dig in to understand cure, palliation, suppression.
Be sure that the chinese medicine vet or homeopathic vet you are working with is moving you all towards a cure.
