Mange exposure

There was a fox hanging around on our deck and roaming the property. It was itching a lot while on the deck and stayed a while. His coat looked mangy and/or flea bitten. I picked up poop in 3 different places on the yard and driveway and then poured bleach on the spot. I talked with our local conservation officer and he said they have seen several fox with mange in the last couple of weeks. I was also concerned about leptospirosis but he wasn’t aware of any cases of lepto.
How likely is it that Buxton will get mange? What can I do to prevent it? Would mites be left on the deck where the fox was itching? Would the mites be in the lawn?

Not very. Did he have direct exposure to the fox?

Would the mites be in the lawn?

Possibly (for a few hours or days). However transmission from the lawn is super unlikely:
