How to remove Essential Oils off of fur

Hi

I have a friend who put a natural flea and tick collar on her white dog and now the fur is stained from the essential oils. She has tried soap and water but it won't come out. Any suggestions. Thank you, Jamie

Something more oil-based (but clear) would work. I used to use Avon Skin So Soft (which also repels bugs) for stuff like this.

However, I don't know if they still make it...

Would coconut oil work? It is not clear but white?
