Below are two interesting articles about how and why chronic dis-eases are on the rise.
The first is especially interesting when taken in the context of Vitality, Balance and individualization.
The author discusses "precision" molecular medicine and not the previous goal of just a few years ago that was called "personalized" or individualized medicine.
The original intent for personalized medicine was to use information gained from sequencing of the human genome along with techniques of molecular biology to find targeted therapies.
Conventional docs and scientists realized a few years ago that true individualization could not be attained using the current medical model.
However, personalization and individualization are possible today just by factoring your pets' Vitality and ability to make symptoms back into the equation.
Fluctuations in Vitality's balance can be observed through symptoms which are related to individual susceptibilty.
Nowhere is individuality and personalization more relevant than in a discussion of immune balance.
Such as in the allergy webinar-course and resources.
Allergic symptoms are often the earliest way of seeing any internal imbalance.
"Allergic" symptoms are really just a reflection of immune hyper-sensitivity.
Suppression of the symptoms is directly associated with progression of the imbalance and worsening of the dis-ease.
To learn much more click/tap here to watch the videos, grab the slides or read the resources from the allergy webinar.

The second article is much more detailed and also discusses increasing chronic imbalances.
It use a model called "translational" medicine which is also especially relevant to us.
The authors hypothesize that dis-ease themselves translate to imbalances.
However, this framework also only gives us a piece of the holistic picture and does not take into account the harmful effect from suppressing the symptoms of dis-ease.

The discussion of increasing chronic health challenges is very important and useful.
