Aloe internally for dogs?

Hi Dr. Jeff,
I forgot to ask in our 15 minute call if I can give my 15 yr old, 11pd Havanese aloe internally...? If so, how much per day? I know you mentioned I could put it on her scabs but there are so many scabs, I'd basically be giving her a dry bath in the aloe several times a day. Any added insight is welcome.

Yes!

Perhaps start with ~1/2 tsp/day and work up every few days.

Based on mine and Dr. Shoemaker's experience (her article is linked below), you can go up to at least 3 tsp/day.
