Lyme

s this administered daily or 10 days on and 10 days off like the vibactra? If it is cycled should they be taken at the same time as the vibactra?
Yes, and yes!
immunity blend from real mushrooms and was planning on cycling those the 10 days when off the vibactra
That is perfect!

@Dr. Jeff zeppelin seems to have a swollen front left paw that he isn’t putting any weight on now. We thought it was some sort of bone or soft tissue injury from throwing the ball in the river Sunday but the physical exam isn’t presenting that way.The urgent care vet thinks it’s either a bacterial infection from a pin prick in the river or Lyme. This was even before they knew he actually has Lyme. Their recommendation is to put him on amoxi to cover the potential pin prick and if he gets better then that’s most likely what it was and if it doesn’t then treat him more aggressively for Lyme with a months worth of antibiotics. Not sure how to proceed

I am also an established patient with you. Wondering if this would warrant an acute visit/call. Not sure how to schedule with you for acute calls. 112

Hi Stephanie!

Your best bet then is to submit an update since our 2/21/23 call and any vet notes and diagnostic test results since then.

submit an update how? Did you see my previous message about the swollen paw and their recommendation for amoxi if it may be a pin prick infection from the river? not sure if i should start him on that today or not and how that would affect our current treatment plan of treating lyme with herbs. your next available appointment isnt for a couple weeks.
