What to do for this?

Vet says no need to do anything but I’m not believing this. Just did a round of Ponazuril so I’m not sure why this is. Any advice is helpful. I did not see much about Eimeria in the threads.

Thank you!

If your kitty's stools, and other GI symptoms, are normal then the Eimeria will get eliminated naturally.

Coccidia like Eimeria are usually benign and self-limiting:

My experience is that while we need to use drugs for hooks, whips & round worms, and sometimes tapeworms, none of the others, especially the coccida and giardia need any treatment.

As always, if they persist, it would be one of the Early Warning Signs of Internal Imbalance indicating the need to explore improving any area of the basics - food, microbiome, mental and physical stimulation, avoiding toxins, using energy healing, etc.

And be sure to create your holistic healing team, as well, including a great homeopathic or TCVM veterinarian, even if virtual.

Interesting, thank you for the responses.

Seems to just have some light diarrhea.

So, I wouldn’t have to quarantine the parasitic kitten from my other cat?

How long should we wait to fecal retest?

You may want to hold off on their sharing litter boxes until 1 week after the new kitty's stool normalizes.

At about that time the stool recheck should be negative and the two cats are fine too share boxes (2 cats, 3 boxes as you know).
