Itchy scabby ears

Bobby's ears have been itchy this Spring, and we're doing all we can to get him into balance, but until then, he's scratched the inside of his ears in a couple spots until they're bleeding. A scab will form, which is great, but then he scratches it open again before it's fully healed. What can we apply in the short term to relieve the itch and heal the wounds? Is there a doggie Neosporin?

Each animal reacts differently, so you may need to try one for a few days, then move on to another. You can certainly do more than one at a time and if improvement, stop one at a time.
