Read the Flea book for starters, paying attention to the beginning which discusses that healthy animals do not have reactions to fleas and even rarely will have a flea on them ---- even in the south! Also listen to the webinar on nematodes for the yard, dog parks, etc. The newest company, Flea Destroyers, is not yet in the Flea book.
