I have the impression that you can actually do harm by choosing the wrong remedy, or giving the wrong potency (too high I think).

If that's the case, could you please elaborate? What do we need to be aware of in this regard?

Hmm, a seemingly straightforward question, but not such a simple answer.

If the patient is sensitive and susceptible to the remedy, then yes, it could initiate changes that prove harmful. Especially if there are already structural changes (and pathology).

However, that does not apply >90% of the time and applies primarily when vitality is low.

Most of the time the response to the situation you mention, is the body reacting with a new or more prominent symptom.

Basically saying that you gave a close-enoughicum to get a reaction, but not a curative response.

In general, match your potency to the vitality of the patient as well as the pace of the dis-ease.
