We found a dead tick just at top of our dogs skin. It seems hard and dead but is latched on to the top of his neck. Not easy to get out as trying to do so, turns the area red.
Any suggestions on how to get it out with tweezers or any other suggestions? See pix below
No worries about using tweezers (or anything else) Stephanie (or Mike). Dowse the area with peroxide, let it bubble up then wipe it away until the crusty stuff is gone.
Cooper's body will expel the remaining bit of foreign material over 1-2 weeks.
