History: Reyah is my 11-year-old Springer who was surrendered to a shelter in July 2015 with an ulcerated mammary tumor. Surrendering owners noticed her small lump in May 2014. Owners declined the recommended mastectomy and spay. The shelter did these surgeries in August 2015. X-rays...
Anyone feeding Answers Detailed Formula dog food?
I've been feeding Answers to Reyah, my 40-pound Springer Spaniel, the last few days to see if she tolerates it. My pet sitter will be feeding it to Reyah while I'm on vacation. The recommended amount doesn't seem like much when compared to...
@amyland -- any chance you could give specific measurements for the ingredients? I can only guess with cooking, not baking! And what did you bake them on? You can laugh, I get teased about this all the time! Remember, I weigh and measure EVERYTHING when I feed Reyah!
Thank you!
@Dr. Jeff -- In the example above with Rosie, could you please add some time descriptors to her case?
How soon after dosing did the Arsenicum seem to help? When did she start going off to be by herself?
How long between the initial dose of Arsenicum and Nux dose?
It's that old waiting and...
I wondering if you could you mix the Vitality Blend into your cooked food before you serve. Also curious about what state the mushrooms are in when the Vitality Blend is made. Some say cooking mushrooms lightly before eating is better.
So many questions, right?
Quick question -- what quantity of oatmeal or quinoa is recommended per meal? Reyah's weight runs between 38 and 40 pounds.
I weight and measure EVERYTHING but these -- I can't stop!
I'm curious about feeding these carbs when cancer is present -- are they considered sugars that feed cancer...
@Dr. Jeff -- you mentioned in Marissa's post that the CAS Options might be better for more serious situations. Would Reyah fit into that category with her new mammary tumor? She tolerates 1 tsp of the vitality blend twice a day. I'm pulling together an update on her.
Thanks!
Thanks for the additional resource Jackie. I looked through all of my Empower Hour notes and found a reference to Zen Shampoos, so that's another one to check out.
I believe Dr. Christina has said it's the strong aroma that is the concern. That leads me to think it all oils could interfere...
Not sure I put this is the correct category!
I've been wanting to ask about a good shampoo for Reyah, my dog, that doesn't have essential oils in it or anything else that would interfere with homeopathic remedies.
Can anyone recommend one? Reyah get's groomed every eight weeks and I bathe her...
In general, how much consideration should be given to duplicating ingredients when adding a supplement? Thinking specifically of vitamins A, C, D, E, zinc, and selenium. How much is too much?
Thank you!
I love this and will try it with Reyah. She's so quick to figure out the enrichment games offered online. I like the simplicity of cardboard boxes AND raising the value of the game!
