Licking & Redness

@Dr. Jeff @Dr. Christina

Greetings to you both and a couple of questions...

First thing is our dog Peaches (11yo spayed female bichon-maltese mix, 10lbs, good BEAM, all standard vaccines up until she was 6, no medications currently) seems to have some redness and slight swelling in her vulva and is licking it a lot. She otherwise seems totally fine. I am wondering if she might have an UTI? I'm inclined to take her to the vet, but am also wondering whether or not a compress with a particular flower essence (or something else) might resolve it? And also if you have any insight into what might have caused it in the first place? Is is similar to anal gland issues where an infection is symptomatic of a larger imbalance?

Second thing is that I am in search of a vet in either Mendocino county or Nevada County (both in CA) who would be able to procure and vaccinate Peaches with one of the Boehringer Ingelheim rabies vaccines. I'm more than happy to do the leg work, just not sure how to locate a vet using these vaccines in the first place?

If it would work better to book a 15-minute appointment to discuss both issues in depth, I am happy to do that.

Thank you!
Kate

You can probably try some home care if her BEAM is good and she is able to urinate comfortably. Be sure to record this and anything that may be going on in her life (and of course yours). Has she ever had a problem like this before?

Definitely hot compress with Rescue remedy (4 drops in 1/2 C very warm water is good), calendula in the wanter or after wards, or try one then the other. F

Be sure you are feeding her the best, exercising her mind and body, sending her happy, not worried thoughts and all that makes her happy.

Try any energy methods (reiki, intention, scalar wave, WEBB, etc) that you know, or listen to Prasaad's lecture on meditating with intention. thump the thymus. Maybe 500 mg VitC for a few days. Balance the energy field.

Carefully read this entire article to helpyou find a vet. Is nevada county near S. Tahoe? There is a great homeopathic vet there who can work virtually, too. Dr. hank Kostecki.

Hey Kate!

Great question! The signs you describe are typical of inflammatory changes. Sometimes the immune system can indeed also be imbalanced enough to allow a bacterial overgrowth.

Either way, the strategies to help get her back in balance (fresh food feeding, probiotics, sniff walks, snuffling, etc.) will help support her body while it heals.

Energetic treatments such as homeopathy can resolve the underlying imbalance with a secondary resolution of the symptoms.

Yes! Hot compresses, flower essences various supplements (like cranberry and vitamin C), Reiki, nature therapy and especially homeopathy.

insight into what might have caused it in the first place?
Definitely!! As you said, the same energetic imbalance that can create anal sac issues and other symptoms is the cause. The triggers are often things like changes in lifestyle (especially schedule) environment, emotional stressors, etc.
symptomatic of a larger imbalance?
Yes!!😍😍😍
