Heart Murmur

My little boy Harry is 10 and a spoodle, he is neutered, he is 10.4kg, still has appetite but mood energy and behaviour has slowed down and shifted. he is unvaxxed. He hasn't been his usual self over the last week, he's been tiring easily with his favourite activity fetching his ball, tired, going of to rooms by himself, lack of vitality which is really strange for him. He was diagnosed with a heart murmur today. Possible heart disease? He is having an ECG next week and we will get a clearer idea then. He is showing the symptoms of Congestive heart failure, snoring, crackly breathing, legathy. I am worried. Is there anything I can do for him while we wait for an ECG? We do Medical Medium, his day is usually, organic beef mince twice per day, wild blueberries, and bits of fruit and veg that we are eating throughout the day. As of today I started giving him 2 celery sticks, with 1 apple and 1/2 tsp of barley grass juice powder for lunch. Should I give him 500g of Vimergy's Micro C a couple of drops of their Zinc? Thinking I might use a syringe to administer celery juice? I have a call with Jeff next week after our ECG, but would love some guidance in the meantime.

First, is your call with Dr. Jeff one of the 15 minute HA calls, or is it becoming a client of his? Being the client of a homeopath is the most important thing you can do right now. A great book to inspire you is by Ed DeBeuklaer - Homeopathy what to expect. Check page 120 for the successful treatment of a dog with heart failure. Not every dog responds as easily as each is on their soul journey.

Between now and a full homeopathic work up, work on your mental/emotional state - do not worry. Practice enjoying every moment. Laugh. Dance. Do what he lives to do. Watch all the webinars on joy and happiness.
Dr. Siegel, Anitra Frazier, laughter yoga, Grandmother Nancy and more.

It's a 15min call, however would love to be a client, didn't know this was an option, how do I go about this? In NZ there are not really any holistic vets. As I follow medical medium, I don't do homeopathy due to the alcohol content, he has it commented on his blog that it is not good for dogs.

Hi Emma,
Please discuss your concerns about the alcohol, and the feasibility of becoming a client with @Dr. Jeff, when you meet with him.
Best!

There was probably a misunderstanding with the Medical Medium. Most homeopathic medicines are medicated sugar pellets and the amount of alcohol will have evaporated. Then many prescribers may suggest putting a few pellets in 1 ounce to 1/2 C or more of water, so any alcohol is miniscule. As you will see as you read the forum (check out the homeopathy thread) and the homeopathy article at the Resource Library, homeopathic medicines are very safe to use on animals.

Rarely, homeopathic medicines may be purchased from the homeopathic pharmacies in varying different strengths of alcohol. These are only used in special instances, and even then can be diluted safely for animals.

Very good Chinese medicine veterinarians (TCVM) can use acupuncture and Chinese herbs successfully to help dogs with heart problems, as can botanical veterinarians. Read this entire article and begin finding what veterinarians near you could be on your health care team. New Client Questionaire is for Dr. Jeff.

Hey Emma!

I'm sorry to hear about Harry's lower energy and BEAM.
diagnosed with a heart murmur today. Possible heart disease?

Most murmurs are not associated with heart dis-ease. Did the vet give it a number (between 1 and 6)?

When was his exam prior to the one you just had?

I am worried. Is there anything I can do for him while we wait for an ECG?
Yes! The first step is realizing that he will be as good as nature, the universe, spirit, etc. wants him to be.

Then start right away with 2x a day snuffle mat sessions using freeze-dried chicken hearts.

And double the amount of time he spends outside.

Should I give him 500g of Vimergy's Micro C a couple of drops of their Zinc?
Yes! And maybe even work up to 8 capsules/day if his stools stay firm.

As I follow medical medium, I don't do homeopathy due to the alcohol content,
Homeopathy is the safest and most effective modality for helping dogs with heart dis-ease. As Dr. Christina said, there is no alcohol in the remedies.

Hi Jeff,

Thank you for your quick reply.

The vet we saw yesterday thought his heart murmur was a number 4.

Harry had his ECG today. The cardiologist diagnosed him with Stage B1 Valve Disease. I have attached his ECG report below. The cardiologist said to treat him like normal for now, ie still play ball.

He is going to have another ECG in 3 months to double check whether this is harry's normal or a worsening issue. We can get another ECG sooner than 3 months if that is recommended.

They didn't think his cough or snoring had anything to do with the heart, but it is strange how he has starting coughing an reaching over the last week, that coincided with his lethargy and low BEAM. We still don't have a diagnosis on this. The cardiologist said it didn't seem related to his heart. It sounds that same as our other spoodle who died from heart failure 5 years ago. But really have no idea what to make of it, still worried about it.

Thank you for your advice on the snuffle matt, outdoors and Micro C. We will do that!

Do you think I should start giving him CoQ10? Would this be appropriate? https://nz.iherb.com/pr/now-foods-coq10-200-mg-60-veg-capsules/16552

How much Barley Grass Juice Powder should I be giving him?

Can I give him celery juice would this help? If so how much should I give him? Does this need to be first thing in the morning on an empty stomach like humans?

Thinking to introduce wild salmon oil and vimergy's B-12. Is there anything else I can give him? Open to anything. I understand your homeopathy explanation :)

Thank you so much for you time.

Thank you Christina, that is most helpful :)

Great news! No heart failure or serious dis-ease.
We still don't have a diagnosis on this
Ah, but energetically we know what's going on (an energetic imbalance)!

And better yet, we know exactly how to help (snuffling and actions that activate happiness are a great start).

All of the supplements you mention are fine.

You may want to fill out @Dr. Jean Hofve's online form for a free consultation to find the best Standard Process supplements for Harry.

BTW-The report you shared shows great echocardiography results! Here's the bottom line:

age-related thickening of the valve tissue resulting in a valvular leak that is audible witha stethoscopy as a murmur.
