This is my daughters pup she got at 8 weeks and immediately switched him to a raw diet. Someone sent the post below saying he needs grain in his diet and I’m just trying to come up with the best reply??

I'd love to understand this (incorrect as per my understanding) rationale.

Calcium is important for sure, but grains?

Maybe @Nicci can comment further about this.

In the meantime Judy, perhaps Alex can find out the veterinarian's reasoning or ask the vet to contact me directly.

This wasn’t her vet it was a comment someone made to her
