Hello,

I bring my healthy 3 year old Lab to daycare & boarding. The place is great, however, they are requiring the flu vaccine which I don’t want to give to my dog. I saw a waiver to give to the vet in regards to the Bordatella is there one for the flu vaccine? Thanks in advance.

Basically there is no "approved" waiver. Ask the facility what they need. A copy of the Bordatella one, replacing with "canine flu" should suffice.

Hey Jill!

Welcome to HA! and thanks for making your first post.

You have one lucky pup and are super wise (IMHO) to be trying to minimize vaccination.

Yes, see what the facility will accept.

Perhaps talk to the manager and not just someone at the front desk.

If they won't accept a waiver from you, ask if they will sign a waiver.

A waiver saying that if your pup gets sick after vaccination that they will cover the cost of the vet bills...

We'll look forward to hearing what happens!

You're welcome Jill.
