The research for curing cancer looks outstanding. Am I missing something here?

I am curious as well. I just joined an FB group about it.

Adam and Anna,

I am not familiar with that and not good at evaluating research.

You need to look at all research with careful eyes. Maybe Dr. Pope and other empower hour speakers on cancer address this.

There are two ways to think about cancer treatments, and sometimes both need to be used (truly integrative).

1. Drugs, herbs, Bengston method, and many other targeted treatments focused on a cancer. Often there is research on these, sometimes good, sometimes not, sometimes paid for by big pharm. Research is usually done for one specific type of cancer. There are drugs and anecdotal reports of success - for specific cancers, and maybe in specific breeds, or ages, or circumstances. Fenbendazole is just one more to add to the list.

2. Every one of us has cancer cells circulating in our body that are removed by a healthy immune system. Seeing cancer as an indication that the individual is out of balance and has been that way long enough to not be doing its job anymore has treatment options focused on returning to balance. There are almost unlimited options to do this.

When you look at both 1 and 2 together, as Adam has discovered, making choices is very challenging. Just as with trying to maximize nutrition to prevent illness - how many supplements do you need? How many treatments are beneficial or do they start to overwhelm the body at some point?

The key is that THERE IS NO RIGHT ANSWER. There also is no one person who can tell you what to do. Each animal/person/plant is unique and may need different dosages (more or less sensitive), each has a mental/emotional/spiritual background that makes some choices more effective than others, each practitioner has some knowledge but no one has knowledge of all that is available in 1 & 2. Even expert speakers we host like Dr. Kendra Pope and others have opposing opinions and experiences.

The key to living/trying to heal any chronic illness, including cancer, is living and loving your animal/child in the moment. Be present. Be happy. Do not worry about the future. Become the mind of a cat or dog as they live in the present. Select a few treatments and practitioners that make sense to you, evaluate if they are improving quality of life.

Well, long answer to short question, but hopefully many will read this about living with animals with cancer.

Dr. Christina
