Earthing mats and ionbox for cats

Hi All,

I was wondering if a cat is being kept indoors at all times, would the cat miss out on the benefits of grounding/earthing? Would it be a good idea to place an earthing mat in its cage? Has anyone here tried that? Additionally, would it be okay to use the ionbox on a kitten? I have a portable ionbox (ionMi) that I thought I could place it on its cage when she's sleeping...your thoughts? Thank you
