Diarrhea for kittens / cats in general

Hello!

What do we do if our kittens or adult cat gets diarrhea? I am feeding raw and wonder what I could do to ease their pain.

I was reading the other thread about pumpkin and constipation. Does pumpkin also work for diarrhea, maybe after a short fast? Why is it that one food would help both extremes?

Yes, that's a great strategy Kristin!

Pumpkin works well for diarrhea (as well as constipation).

Christie, a short fast followed by pureed white meat chicken or baby food also works well for acute diarrhea.

The fastest relief is with the homeopathic medicine indicated by the symptoms.

Arsenicum album, Nux vomica, and Pulsatilla are most commonly indicated.
