e: Gracie is our 10 1/2 year old mixed breed, mostly golden retriever. She was provisionally diagnosed with lymphoma on May 15, 2020. She has enlarged lymph nodes and has lost 2 of her 50 lbs. She has no fever. She has a slightly low white blood cell count. We have noticed some lethargy and increased thirst, but no other changes in behavior or appetite. Aspiration of the lymph glands was inconclusive, however, a pathologist will be taking a look at those results to give us his opinion. We have decided to not pursue chemotherapy for Gracie. She has been on a grain free diet for a year or more. She eats celery and fruit for snacks. She has been on a daily dose of 500 mg of ester c from the VIMERGY company. She also takes 1/2 dropper of olive leaf and 1/2 dropper of Pau d’arco daily. Since her provisional diagnosis on Friday (today is Sunday) we have increased her ester c dose to 1000 mg per day (divided) and plan to incrementally increase that dose to up to 4,000 mg per day, depending on how her bowels respond. We have mixed a blend of the following mushroom powders and are giving her 1/2 tsp per day: Cordyceps, Reishi, Chaga, Lion’s Mane. We plan to add Turkey Tail as soon as we can buy it. We also plan to add a capsule of Agerikon mushroom with her daily snack. We have added 1 clove of raw garlic to her food daily. We have mixed 1 tsp of wild blueberry Power from VIMERGY company into mashed banana and plan to this daily, as well. We have slightly increased the amount of olive leaf and Pau D’arco. We plan to add wheatgrass shots in to her regimen this week.
