- Breathe deeply and slowly through your nose
- Extend your arms outward and externally rotate your hands in order to maximize your breathing volume (aka vital capacity)
- When possible, breathe outside air near plants
- Slow your breathing and even constrict the back of your throat to sound like you are fogging a mirror (this is called ujjayai in yoga or purring in kitties)
