Bird Flu Infections in Cats and Dogs

When I read this article, the other day made me wonder if,as in the case of raw fish and raw pork, freezing for a period of time would deactivate pathogens /viruses.

Read this above referenced article, presume it is still generally considered safe to continue to feed raw food (chicken, duck, goose, etc.)? I have not read anything to the contrary up to this point. We feed reconstituted raw dehydrated poultry (Stella&Chewy's) because of one of our cats having digestive issues. Any thoughts would be welcomed.

It works for me, but the NY Times site can be wanky at times.

Regardless, there's not much useful stuff in the article.

HA!, I just went back there to try and copy the article and it asked me to sign up!😆
