My Standard schnauzer puppy recently had some x-rays of her front legs. I adopted her as a puppy knowing that she had a hereditary bone deformity, possibly club foot. Attached is a picture of her X-rays. The left front leg is abnormal and the right front leg is normal. The diagnosis by an orthopedic vet surgeon is angular bone deformity. It requires a complicated type of surgery by another specialist.
Based on the BEAM of Constanza (high energy, runs and plays and no pain) I have decided not to do any surgery. My plan is to treat with a raw diet, continue giving Dr Dobias GreenMin (minerals and amino acid supplement) and continue with the tissue salt calc fluor.
My question is, should I add the tissue salt Calc phos? Give both or just one? And do you have any other ideas?
Thanks,
Cindy Pinera
