Today was my Mini Schnauzer's birthday. I went out looking for a grass fed steak for Ernie and his sister to celebrate! I don't go shopping very often lately, and I was surprised to find a grassfed and grassfinished steak at Acme. Connecticut. It is from New Zealand and Australia. So not local. But Ernie let me try a piece. It was delicious!

Side note. My father went to Australia on R&R during WW2. He loved Australia! But he said the food was terrible especially the steak. But that was a long time ago.
