I mentioned it to my local vet when I was there having follow up bloodwork on Sherlock and she immediately said “I’ll bet she has DCM since she is a Great Dane!” I said no it’s “cough drop”. The look on her face was priceless

Piper has had a hard start in life with glaucoma and losing her eyes. Then diagnosed and treated for Pemphigus years ago but has been doing well. Tonight she coughed a very strange cough (like not enough air getting thru), collapsed and then immediately stood up and has acted fine since. Strange!
