Day 1 after remedy - Thursday: Murphy started shaking his head last night (which he has done in the past but recently he has only done in the mornings). He pooped inside last night. This morning he was shaking his head badly... I thought for sure he had a tick, but could not find any.
Day 2...
We are getting ready for our 2nd Rabies vaccine in July.
I understand this is the law and because Murphy is a certified Therapy Dog so, there is no getting around it if we want to keep his certification.
Dr. Jeff has recommended I give a 30c 5/Q-Tip dose of Arsenicum Alb today.. If no reaction...
I looked at the remedies you mentioned above. The only one that seems to fit is Arnica. But Arnica led me to Aconitum... "sensation of a drop of water is in the ear" ??
I gave him a JSJ small intestine flow today as it supports "ear tubes", swimmers ear and is good for "neurotic animals". I...
It is still mostly in the morning which if Kate is correct makes sense as that is when he is most active.
I can tell when it is bad as he walks/runs with his head down and tilted to the side of the ear that most bothers him.
I will look at these remedies. Kate did say that there was no ringing...
Here we are 1 year later and Murphy STILL has a "head shaking issue" I would not care so much if it did not seem to really cause him discomfort at times. sooooo... I consulted an animal communicator. Here is what Kate Solisti said:
Thanks again for giving me the opportunity to help...
along the same lines.... lamb leg bone? we just deboned a leg of lamb and I gave the bone to Murphy. He enjoyed all the meat off the bone, then ate the cartilage knuckle but when he started cracking the bone to get the copious amount of marrow out of the center, I took it away. Is is...
2 YEARS OLD!
86.7 pounds
I should note that the weight I reported in past posts, was from me lifting Murphy while standing on the scale and then subtracting my weight. This time we went to the vet to get weighed.
Murphy enjoys his morning walk to get the newspaper and bring it home for Dad...
Thank you Dr. Jean! I purchased the Similsan and while the goo is not totally gone, it has drastically reduced down to simple "sleepies" in the morning.... MUCH better!
update: as suggested, I dosed Murphy with Merc viv 30C 15Q-tip on Thursday. Friday morning the goo was all but gone. It came back Friday afternoon. This morning he woke up with a very sticky eye so I redosed.
his right eye had green goo in October last year for about a week. This episode has been going on for a week now. BEAM is good, head shaking actually seems better (not great but better). No squinting. His eyes look a little pink but not bad.
Thank you Dr. Jeff! They symptom is not Problematic (for me) it is Persistent, Prominent and Peculiar... I have never seen it in another dog EXCEPT my last Berner, Otis. Otis started sucking his blanket after elbow surgery when he was 1 and continued the behavior the rest of his life. Murphy...
This weeks empower hour on breathing brought to mind Dr. Jeff's love of the "snuffle mat".
Do we need a mat covered in treats to get our dogs snuffling? Can you have too much snuffling?
Murphy LOVES his weekly spa treatment with the AromaBoost. And I have only found 1 tick on him since I started doing it. But does anyone know why they include a seperate bottle of Fractionated Coconut oil in the kit?
If this is already posted somewhere, I am sorry for the duplicate but I feel it is important.

I too was interested in The PetProtector and ordered it :)
It just arrived and I realized it will not work for us. You need to leave it on your dog for 7-20 days for it to START working... If you take the collar off, you need to start all over. Murphy does not sleep with his collar on. Anyone...
