Colloidal silver is fine for dogs and cats eyes to help treat infection, allergies, inflammation. I've used on mine with good results. @Dr. Jeff pls weigh in.
Great advice, Alyson. Sorry to hear about your health challenges. Yes, there's pro and con articles all over the internet about most things. I was surprised to find this in DogsNaturally, but probably shouldn't be as they began a coconut oil bashing campaign a couple of years ago too. I'm not...
Dr. Christina said the same thing when I discussed with her before sharing. I've used it on myself all during the height of the pandemic to protect myself - spraying up my nose and down my throat and no ill effects. Dr C likened to Goldenseal - use when needed, don't abuse.
Hi everyone - This came into my Inbox this morning from Dogs Naturally and it surprised me a bit, because it's calling out colloidal silver as potentially dangerous to give our dogs or cats. Here's the link to the video; there's a link to a more in-depth post below it, if you'd like to read...
Yes! This is Suki! Treated her with the above, finishing with Hypericum and she healed beautifully. After about 2 weeks with us, we'd fallen in love and adopted her and Suki just moved with us to Austin and is living the life. :) Dr. Larry Bernstein met Suki when I took her and Sophie to him and...
Thank you! I don't have any of that information as yet. I just learned about this this evening, right before I reached out. Tomorrow I'll ask his dad to fill in the picture a bit. I can't take Riley's case at the moment but his dad will be doing that. I do know he told me Riley has had ear...
Hi everyone - one of my friends' dogs, a 14yo Yorkie Poo named Riley, was taken to the vet in the middle of the night Friday and diagnosed with polyps in his ears, a tympanic membrane rupture and a middle ear infection. Yikes! The vet took out the polyps and cauterized the area and on Sunday...
A good friend has a kitty who had skin issues. He put her on this and they went away. He’s had her on since and seems very happy with it. I know Marty takes seriously what goes into this food. He’s raved and raved about it to me but with 3 dogs and the dog food only coming in small bags and...
I so agree! :) Can you take her on as a client if she were willing? I know she loves her vet cardiologist, so not sure she would be, but is that something I can suggest?
The chief complaint is the pathology for mom; now it seems the exhaustion worse from slightest exertion and trembling (she doesn’t know from what better or worse) are the newest complaints. The only modalities mom could help with are already on the sheet. She isn’t terribly helpful with...
Hi @Dr. Jeff - Sure. Chelsea has Congestive Heart Disease, Pulmonary Hypertension and Chronic Degenerative Valve Disease. She's just started trembling intermittently too. My friend sent me a video and it broke my heart. The little girl just sat down, hunched over a bit and was shaking and...
Hi everyone -
Putting a case up here of a friend's pup. Would love feedback from anyone with experience in this realm and from @Dr. Jeff , @Dr. Christina , @Dr. Sara. Chelsea is an 11yo, 5lb Maltese. My friend acquired her from a young couple in NYC who took really poor care of her and my...
Her BEAM has been good all along. Not lots of discharge. Mostly inflamed/swollen in left ear. I don't think red now but I will ask mom to send photo from today and share.
OK mom came back. When she took her back on March 22, vet did examine eardrum too and said Zoey has an external ear infection called otitis and her eardrum was ok. Her ear wasn't as inflamed back then as is now. She hasn't had it rechecked since then. Recommendations at this point? Thanks!
Yes the vet did an ear flush, both ears. I've asked mom if they examined Zoey's eardrum. If she doesnt know, I've asked her to call the vet and find out and tell me. If there is a chance of this, I do not want to mess with this. I am not a vet and not experienced enough as a practitioner to get...
Thanks @GinnyW . @Dr. Jeff mom was told since zoeys ear swollen inside that if they let it go on, Zoey could lose her hearing. Is there any truth to this?
Thanks so much, @GinnyW ! So appreciate the feedback. I will see if they’ll relax into giving her 30C Pulsatilla. How many doses would you think to see if it’ll move things further along?
