Drs. Jeff Feinman and Christina Chambreau join forces to tackle pet guardian questions.

Here are some key take aways:

      Diet and Nutrition

      • Feed a species-appropriate fresh, whole food diet for optimal health
      • Cooked or raw is fine, focus is unprocessed and fresh ingredients
      • Tailor the diet to the animal’s needs – more probiotics, digestive enzymes, etc. for gut issues
      • For cancer, feed whatever the animal wants, try a ketogenic diet
      • For dental issues, feed large chunks/bones to naturally express glands and clean the teeth

      Parasites

      • Parasites indicate an underlying vital force imbalance
      • Focus on rebalancing energy using modalities like Reiki, supplements, diet
      • Can use medications short-term while addressing root cause

      Lyme Disease

      • Positive test indicates exposure, not necessarily infection
      • No need to treat if no symptoms present
      • Can use herbs and energy work to support immune system

      Holistic Approaches

      • Work with a holistic vet for chronic or older animals
      • Learn modalities like Reiki, Ttouch, acupressure
      • Use flower essences, herbs, homeopathy as appropriate
      • Track symptoms over time in a journal
      • Avoid suppressing symptoms without addressing root cause

      Heartworm Prevention

      • Give prevention monthly in high risk areas
      • Can test twice yearly instead of giving prevention
      • Healthy immune system can kill migrating larvae
      • Detox with energy work like Reiki rather than drugs/herbs

      0:00 Introduction and welcome
Dr. Christina Chambreau and Dr. Jeff Feinman welcomed attendees to their monthly holistic veterinary webinar, where members could ask questions and learn holistic approaches to animal health issues.

3:20 Treating high blood pressure holistically
Aaron asked how to treat high blood pressure holistically in dogs. Dr. Feinman emphasized lifestyle changes like exercise and a healthy diet to naturally regulate blood pressure without drugs.

      7:20 Choosing a holistic veterinarian
Erin expressed hesitation about prescription medications from her vet and was advised to find a truly holistic veterinarian through the Holistic Actions website resources.

      23:20 Addressing digestive issues holistically

      50:50 Integrating energy healing approaches
The discussion concluded with recommendations to incorporate energy medicine techniques like The Energy Cure method to heal underlying imbalances rather than just treat symptoms.
